Does this switch require a hub?
Yes, this switch requires a hub that supports Thread.
What is the difference between the Red, White and Blue Series?

Can this switch work without a neutral wire?
No, this switch requires a neutral wire. If you have a non-neutral setup, we recommend the White Series Dimmer Switch where you can simulate an on/off switch by tweaking some settings
NOTE: The Dimmer Switch is only rated for lights, please see FAQ's for more detail.
Can this be used on fans (exhaust/ceiling) or outlets?
Yes, this switch can be used on any fan or outlet as long as it falls within the max load requirements.
Can this be used with ballasts or transformers (including LED Strips)
Yes, this switch can be used on ballasts and transformers (including LED Strips).
Is this switch rated for ELV, MLV or any low voltage lights?
Yes, as long as 120V reaches the switch, it can control any ELV, MLV or low voltage lights.
Does this switch support 240V or 277V?
This switch does not support 240V, but it does support 277V, making it perfect for commercial use.
Can you turn off the LED Bar?
Yes, you can set the LED Bar intensity (off to 100%) when the light is on or off.
Is there a faceplate included? If not, what faceplate do you recommend?
No, there is no faceplate inside the box. We recommend Lutron Claro faceplates as we based our colors off of them.
